I am running for office because I have solid and successful business experience to offer the entire community.  The creativity and drive that I have applied in building 3 successful organizations can also be applied to the Town of Marshfield and in municipal government. I am new to the political scene and have no preconceived ideas or political loyalties. Like all selectmen, I will be confronted with new, unprecedented issues and I will listen to the town’s folk and perform my due diligence. This “town of villages” has become more and more fractured in recent years and it would be my goal to foster a unified and cohesive community with an objective to do what is right for the entire town and town’s people. 

I fully understand that municipalities operate differently than most businesses.  The pace is more deliberate and collaborative; revenue streams are limited and most of all it’s the resident / taxpayer’s money we are talking about.  Given that, I still feel that the Board of Selectmen should include someone with a strong business acumen.
